JOSHUA CARLSON

Circus Couture

Creator

Joshua Carlson has helped raise over a million dollars for charity. For the past decade he has been involved with the charity event Art Aid, in Kansas, raising money to benefit Positive Directions. Joshua and his production company Aeros Productions have provided circus talent and dancers for charities throughout the US, raising money and awareness for food shelters, to combat homelessness, and to fight disease. Joshua walks to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and clean water as well. Mr. Carlson is on the board of New England Performing Arts Theater Society, whose mission is to positively effect children's lives by bringing scholarships and dance as an alternative to vandalism, crime and gangs.

Joshua Carlson has enjoyed a career in the Arts. After attending Friends University for a BFA in Ballet Performance, he went on to dance as a Principal Dancer with American Repertory Ballet and to Tour with Pilobolus. Joshua trained at the School of Circus Arts in Toronto and has used that talent to put together choreography and circus acts for Corporate Events, Cruise Ships, Dance Companies, and Universities. Joshua has a love of teaching, and enjoys developing the discipline in young bodies and minds to challenge assumed physical boundaries and achieve all an individual can achieve.

It is Joshua's overwhelming gratitude for this gift, we receive in moments, life, that guides how he interacts with the world, giving freely his borrowed time and seeing that it is a good life.
